Established in 1999, dotMailer and dotAgency were operated under Ellipsis Media Ltd, an agency specialising in bespoke website design and development. The dotMailer email marketing platform was developed that year, originally as an email solution to meet the considerable needs of the BBC. Over the proceeding nine years, Ellipsis Media and dotMailer experienced exceptional levels of growth by focusing on meeting our clients’ web and e-marketing needs and providing outstanding client service.
The dotDigital Group plc was incorporated in January 2009, bringing together 4 sister brands under 1 single brand – dotMailer, dotCommerce, dotAgency and dotEditor.
Over recent years we’ve seen an increasing shift in the web market, moving more and more towards a marketing focus. Fortunately – and unusually – we have all the tools and expertise you could need for the Digital Marketing Age. In May 2010 dotDigital Group plc acquired the entire share capital of Netcallidus Limited (“Netcallidus”), a Northamptonshire based digital marketing agency which provided premium search engine marketing services to SME and enterprise organisations throughout the UK. This has extended the SEO and PPC offering that dotDigital is now able to offer to include a dedicated dotSearch operation.
2011 and dotDigital Group continues to expand and develop additional services, including the launch of online survey tool, dotSurvey; while employing an in-house team of over 130 highly talented web, SEO and email marketing specialists, focused on helping you with any aspect of web and online marketing for acquisition, retention and value driving.
